Taylor Sorg

Taylor Sorg is a former collegiate volleyball player and Zionsville Community High School graduate who brings years of experience across multiple levels of the game.

She began playing volleyball in seventh grade after attending camps through Butler University and Zionsville. Her club career included time at The Academy, Team Indiana, and Circle City Volleyball Club, where she continued developing as a Middle Blocker and Right-Side Pin Hitter.

Taylor went on to play all four years at Indiana Tech as a Middle Blocker and Right-Side Pin Hitter. During her sophomore season, she helped Indiana Tech earn a trip to the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in 11 years.

While at Indiana Tech, Taylor earned her degree in Health Science and is currently continuing her education in cardiac sonography through Ascension St. Vincent.

Although Taylor is new to the Indy Hybrid coaching staff, she is no stranger to the Indy Hybrid family. Jess Gearries played club volleyball alongside Taylor, and Stacy trained her when she first opened her business. Now, years later, Taylor is back in the gym on the other side of it, helping pour into the next generation of athletes.

Taylorโ€™s passion for coaching comes from the impact her own coaches had on her throughout her volleyball career. She is excited to now provide that same support and guidance to younger athletes, helping them grow their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game both mentally and physically.
