Hope Moring is a former volleyball player from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a Franklin College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.

She began playing volleyball at a young age and continued through middle school, high school, and college. She started playing club volleyball around age 12 at Pineapple and later competed for Empowered Volleyball Academy in high school.

Originally training as a setter, Hope later developed into a versatile front-row attacker after realizing her ability to be aggressive at the net despite being 5'6" at the time. She trained both setting and opposite hitting, eventually growing into a confident all-around utility player.

Her skill set expanded across all areas of the game—including defense, setting, hitting, serving, and serve receive—allowing her to contribute in multiple roles. Her strongest area of expertise is setting, which she has trained the longest and most consistently.

At Franklin College, Hope continued as an all-around player, splitting time between setting and hitting. She also stepped into a six-rotation outside role when needed and earned HCAC All-Conference honors, including Honorable Mention and First Team recognition, along with team awards such as MVP and Most Offensive Player.

Outside of her experience as an athlete, Hope brings a background in marketing and athlete development. With her degree in Public Relations, she helps support marketing and communication efforts while also working with athletes as they develop their skills, confidence, and overall performance. Her experience as a multi-position volleyball player gives her a well-rounded perspective when helping athletes grow both on and off the court.
